Why It Works

Chemical sprays coat your child's skin with DEET or other synthetic repellents that absorb into their body. No Bite Please Kids uses a blend of five gentle plant oils released from a clothing patch to mask your child's CO2 signature from mosquitoes. The patch sticks to clothes, backpacks, or strollers, so nothing touches their skin. Plus, kids love picking their animal design every morning.

How To Use

Peel the patch from its backing and stick it onto your child's clothing, backpack, stroller, or hat. For best results, place patches near exposed skin areas. Toddlers (6 months to 2 years): 1 patch placed centrally on clothing. Ages 3-5: 2 patches, one on the top and one near the legs. Ages 6+: 2-4 patches, one near each exposed area (both sleeves, shorts). Each patch provides up to 12 hours of protection. Replace with a fresh patch as needed. Always apply to fabric, never directly to skin.

How long does one patch last?

Each patch provides up to 12 hours of protection. For all-day outdoor activities, we recommend replacing the patch after 8-10 hours or when you notice the scent fading.

Where should I place the patch?

Stick the patch on your clothing near areas where skin is exposed. The most effective spots are shirt sleeves (near wrists), collars (neck area), socks or pant cuffs (ankles), and hats. You can also place them on bags, strollers, or tents. The closer to exposed skin, the better the protection.

How many patches should I use at once?

It depends on the situation. For a quick walk or time in the garden, 1-2 patches are enough. For camping trips, lakeside evenings, or areas with lots of mosquitoes, we recommend 3-4 patches spread across different zones (sleeves, collar, socks) for full-body coverage. One pack of 30 gives you 7-15 full outdoor sessions depending on how many you use.

Can I put it directly on my skin?

No Bite Please is designed for clothing and fabric surfaces only. The adhesive and essential oils are formulated for fabric application. If you're looking for something that goes on skin, check out our No Itch Please patches, which are designed for direct skin application after a bite.

Will it stain my clothes?

The essential oils may leave marks on delicate or light-coloured fabrics. We recommend applying to darker or less delicate clothing areas. If in doubt, test on a small hidden area first.

Is it safe for children?

No Bite Please is designed for adults and older children. Since the patch goes on clothing and doesn't touch skin, it avoids the concerns associated with applying chemical repellents directly to children's skin. For younger kids, we recommend our No Bite Please Kids edition, which uses a specially formulated blend of gentle oils and comes in fun animal designs.

How should I store the patches?

Reseal the pouch after every use by pressing the seal together firmly. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. The patches are best used within 2 years of purchase.

Does it work against all mosquitoes?

Citronella and eucalyptus oil are effective against most common mosquito species. Effectiveness may vary depending on mosquito species, environmental conditions, and individual factors. For areas with very high mosquito density, we recommend using multiple patches placed strategically on different clothing areas.
